Public EU consultation on smart and flexible EU crewing rules in inland waterway transport

The European Commission has opened a public consultation on smart and flexible EU crewing rules in inland waterway transport.

Relevant stakeholders like member state’s administrations (ministries), professional associations on the European level, private sector companies, river commissions and relevant IWT public bodies on national level are invited to fill in an online questionnaire which is available in several official EU languages. Responses can be submitted in any official EU language.

The consultation period runs from 22 April 2024 to 15 July 2024 (midnight Brussels time).
